Join us this week as we take a break from the summer heat as we explore the snow while watching the episode "That's Snow Ghost". Who's tasked with carrying all of Mystery Incorporated? Who wakes up all white and immediately commits to being a ghost? And which is better pancakes or waffles? Most of these answers and more await inside the Scooby Zone.
Hello, and welcome to the Scooby Zone, the podcast where we feed the piano and watch the floor as we watch a bit of Scooby-Doo Media. I'm Rob. And I'm Katie. And today we'll be watching That Snow Ghost, episode 17 of Scooby-Doo Where Are You. And joining us once again are Pierre and Gus. Say hi, guys. Hello.
SPEAKER_00Hello. Great to be back.
SPEAKER_03Great to be back. Great to have you back.
SPEAKER_06Yes, it is great to have you guys back.
SPEAKER_03Yep. So excited for that.
SPEAKER_06And it's exciting because this is the last episode of the first season of Scooby-Doo Where Are You?
SPEAKER_03Wow. You guys are here for a special occasion.
SPEAKER_00Alright. Wouldn't have it any other way.
SPEAKER_03Yep. Nope.
SPEAKER_06And then just after this, eight episodes left of Scooby-Doo Where Are You? And then we're into the new Scooby movies.
SPEAKER_03We'll enjoy those a lot.
SPEAKER_06Yes. We are slowly getting through everything.
SPEAKER_03Yes, we are. We're slowly working through.
SPEAKER_06You guys can find us at the Scooby Zone on Facebook. You can email us at the Scooby Zone Podcast at gmail.com. Tell us anything you guys want to tell us. Talk about the show. What do you think is better? Pancakes or waffles?
SPEAKER_03Why do I need to know if it's better of both?
SPEAKER_00It's an important dietary choice. It is.
SPEAKER_03Alright, I don't know.
SPEAKER_06And there's a bit of a joke there too. Oh, okay. That involves a detective and pancakes.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. Even better.
SPEAKER_06So listeners who know no.
SPEAKER_03If we have any, then no.
SPEAKER_06I'm sure we've got some.
SPEAKER_03You're sure? Okay.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Alright.
SPEAKER_06So do you guys have anything before we get to the episode?
SPEAKER_00Or well, I'm excited to see what happens in this one. What do you think, guys?
SPEAKER_03I'm excited to see. Yeah, I'm excited as well.
SPEAKER_06Snowbooks. Excited to see where D falls on the rankings.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. That'll be interesting.
SPEAKER_06We've had some pretty good showings lately.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, haven't we? Monsters.
SPEAKER_00We're moving in the more classic monsters here.
SPEAKER_03So we'll see. We have time to see where they fall in line. Yep. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06See if there's any more Scooby snacks to add to our giant list of sponsors.
SPEAKER_00I hope we can bring your average up.
SPEAKER_03Well, we we did the last time we need to watch the mommy one.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03We've got our first box.
SPEAKER_06Nice.
SPEAKER_03We had the we had to actually sit there and actually count frame by frame what Scooby was devouring.
SPEAKER_06It was a lot.
SPEAKER_03It was a lot of work. So we're averaged it out. So that bumped it up a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That that wouldn't have worked 50 years ago watching it on TV without being able to slow-mo that.
SPEAKER_06Thank you, but I don't tell them. Thank you. Making the job a lot. So we're gonna go ahead, split up, and look for clues watching the episode. You guys can too. Scooby-Doo Where Are You is available to stream Tubi as of right now. It's also available, DVD and Blu-ray.
SPEAKER_03And VHS for those who have VHS.
SPEAKER_06Physical BD is probably the better way to watch it.
SPEAKER_03Probably is the better way to watch it.
SPEAKER_06Or we're not suddenly disappearing from somewhere.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and that's where that sucks.
SPEAKER_00So um so keep your physical copies.
SPEAKER_03Yes, keep your physical copies, guys. Or find them if you need to go find them. But that might be a needle and a haystack.
SPEAKER_06I think your uh physical media players in good condition.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that too. That would definitely help.
SPEAKER_06So we're gonna get going and we will be right back. And we're back. That was that snow ghost, and that really was snow ghost. It was a snow ghost, yeah. Such an enjoyable episode.
SPEAKER_03It was an enjoying episode. Probably one of my one of my favorite episodes.
SPEAKER_06This is probably a lot of people's.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think so. Favorite?
SPEAKER_00Oh, for sure.
SPEAKER_06Definitely pink to the usual scenery and one of the few times where they're in different outfits.
SPEAKER_03That is true.
SPEAKER_06The whole entire episode.
SPEAKER_03I mean, they'd have to be. In fact, we're all look old. They can have different outfits on.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Uncle Cred still has his ass gotta. Definitely sends her scarf under.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, she doesn't understand. She's more she's more stylish, okay?
SPEAKER_06Fred just wants people to see the S.
SPEAKER_03He wants to see the S got.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's fashionable, so you gotta have it visible.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you gotta have the S Cat too. So this was the first time we see snow. Yes. Yes, first time. Yes. But not the last time. We'll definitely see it more in future episodes and such.
SPEAKER_06So all right. So let's go ahead and take it from the top. Alright, take it from the top. We open up with a wolf howling up at the sky. Hard to tell if there's a moon out or not.
SPEAKER_03I think there was a moon out. And there was. It was covered a little bit with clouds, but I think there was a moon out. He has to hell at the moon.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. And then you know it pans across the screen, and we get the first look at the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Who looks more like a Yeti than a ghost.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_06We then get the mystery machine arriving at Wolf's End Lodge. Yep. Because they are going on a ski weekend, and this was the only place that had any availability. It's the only place they could find, apparently.
SPEAKER_00And the lodge didn't look like it would house that many people. There weren't a whole lot of windows, so I don't think there were a whole lot of rooms.
SPEAKER_03No, definitely like a BB drifts type of deal.
SPEAKER_04So it's kind of weird that there's kind of open because it's pretty small. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Maybe they don't get a lot of tourists up there.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, the post might scare away the tourists, too. Let's have that going for it.
SPEAKER_06It didn't look like there's a lot of places for skiing.
SPEAKER_03No, didn't we?
SPEAKER_06You know, there's only maybe like one or two ski jumps, but you know, nothing really for like any sort of like ski trails.
SPEAKER_03Right, didn't look like it did.
SPEAKER_06Um they go inside to check in and they meet Mr. Greenway who works the front desk.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And as they're checking in, the door opens, and we meet Mr. Leech, who gives Mr. Greenway a suitcase and tells him to put it someplace safe.
SPEAKER_03What's in the suitcase?
SPEAKER_06That's a good question, because it's he doesn't act like he's a guest. You're staying in the case.
SPEAKER_03But he said he's told he's mentioned he is another guest, but yeah, he doesn't stick around very much.
SPEAKER_06Then why didn't you give the desk worker your suitcase?
SPEAKER_03Why don't you give me the room?
SPEAKER_06Why not just stick it up to your room?
SPEAKER_03Well, he goes out the door, so he's not actually a guest.
SPEAKER_00Maybe he's not strong enough to lift it up to his room.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, I suppose he might not be.
SPEAKER_04Also, I think his name is Mr. Greenley.
SPEAKER_00Greenley.
SPEAKER_03I think that's the desk club. Yeah. And yeah, Mr. Leech is the Dracula looking guy. Yeah. Who's home? Dracula? It looks like Dracula.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. They are told that, you know, they should make sure to lock their doors and windows at night.
SPEAKER_03Why?
SPEAKER_06Because otherwise the snowboasts look at them and turn them into ghosts.
SPEAKER_03Oh, all that way again. Okay.
SPEAKER_06Yep. Um, you know, they get shown where the girls' room is. Men's is across the hall. Yep. And, you know, Shabby decides to go ahead and check the sure the windows are locked. Yep. It's locked. Pulls the shade up, locks the window, does the double take because right outside of the window is the snow ghost. Snow ghost.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Well, if you're if you're looking outside, you might only expect to see white because of the snow. So at first glance.
SPEAKER_03But it seems to surprise the ghost, too. He's surprised he saw him like the double take.
SPEAKER_06You know, with all the white from the snow, you'd expect it'd be hard to see the white ghosts.
SPEAKER_04I mean he turned in with his environment. He does have yellow horns.
SPEAKER_00That's true. That's the one part that would stick out.
SPEAKER_04The eyes are like black. Aren't they yellow? Like yellow and black? Like the outside.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think they're yellow and black.
SPEAKER_06You can zoom in on one of the yellow eyes.
SPEAKER_03Yellow eyes. Yeah. Okay, so you would see the yellow eyes in contrast with the snow. And because two.
SPEAKER_06Um, so they start panicking. They all uh not all of them, but Fred and Shady and Scooby pile up onto Velma's back. Velma's back. So Velma's now carrying everybody.
SPEAKER_03No one's holding on to your face.
SPEAKER_06Then go to run out the door where Daphne is just standing there, and somebody grabs the snoring to go outside when he should still probably not.
SPEAKER_00But Velma does have a very strong path. We did learn that in this episode.
SPEAKER_06No, she's a smart one, so she's probably used to carrying all the books.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_06All the books, yeah.
SPEAKER_03She does carry the entire investigation. Why we can understand what she's saying.
SPEAKER_06And when she's not telling the ghosts to stop it.
SPEAKER_03Or telling them to go away. Yeah. Shoot, go away. Does that work the last time you tried this too? Because she said stop that versus you go away. Who knows?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they go to the window where they saw the snow ghost, and there's no snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03But there's his footprints.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. So they decided to follow the footprints. Of course. And instead of following them by foot, they get a couple of snowmobiles and following that way. In which they almost drive off a cliff. Because that's right where the footprint is.
SPEAKER_03First step is a doozy. That's like the favorite is line of that.
SPEAKER_06First step is a doozy. Across the way they see the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06And all of a sudden, he can fly.
SPEAKER_03He can fly.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Snow ghosts can fly. Which actually I'm surprised they're so shocked at. Don't ghost normally fly.
SPEAKER_04We don't have any clear evidence how he flies. We'll get into how some of the stuff happens at the end. Yes. We'll get into that later.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, it doesn't make much sense.
SPEAKER_00But Yetis are not known for their flying capabilities.
SPEAKER_03They're not meant to fly.
SPEAKER_06Well, he's a ghost. Oh yeah, ghost yeti flies. They see him fly behind some trees, and they get the bright idea to go. And speaking of bright, uh, they notice a little cave behind there, thinking it is the home of the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yes, because he looks like he could fit in that entrance.
SPEAKER_06No, they decided to have Scooby go check to see if he's home.
SPEAKER_03Is that a good idea?
SPEAKER_06Yes, because he's the fastest. So if the ghost is there, we can get away.
SPEAKER_03You know, I was surprised he didn't get Scooby Snacks for this because he has to, you know, he has to go in there. There's no bribe for Scooby Snacks, and Scooby didn't try to bribe for me.
SPEAKER_00Going into a cave usually requires Scooby-Snacks.
SPEAKER_03That's what I mean. Yes, his foot was broken.
SPEAKER_06Scooby decides to break his leg. So we can take the trip for that. Yep. Before, you know, they pull the bed and cast off Scooby. And anyway. Yep.
SPEAKER_03No Scooby-Sack. Maybe that's his punishment, no Scooby-Sack for his own endeavor there.
SPEAKER_06He tiptoes through the trees.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06And into a bush. Into a bush. And then he trips over eyes or a little bit of snow that's up off the ground. And he barrels into a snowball through a log and lands on top of the cave. On top of the cave, yep. He looks in, sees no ghost, gives them the all clear. They go in and the place is burnished like Chinatown.
SPEAKER_03This is Tibet, Shaggy.
SPEAKER_00It's also very clean for a cave.
SPEAKER_03That's surprising.
SPEAKER_06You know, they're looking around, Scooby finds a bone. Of course he can in a pot. Just randomly stuff. At least it's better than when they, you know, there's a spoon and like a cauldron-looking thing, and they're taking a drink and then they find out it's laundry.
SPEAKER_03So bubbles come out on their own.
SPEAKER_06No, that's ghost pirates stew.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it's ghost pirates, too. Yep. Yeah, that's all the ghost pirates, too.
SPEAKER_06They decide to rin a gong to see maybe somebody's home.
SPEAKER_03Maybe. How else are you gonna get it?
SPEAKER_06Where they meet, probably the most stereotypical Asian person that is. But again, what can you know? What do you expect from 1970?
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, what do you expect?
SPEAKER_06Because I believe this episode aired in 1970. Yeah, okay. Where we meet again, the most stereotypical Asian-looking guy with the most stereotypical Asian name of Fu Lan Chi.
SPEAKER_03Fu Lan Qi.
SPEAKER_06You know, and they tell him, like, well, we thought this was, you know, the home of the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_05Yep.
SPEAKER_06And he tells them that he's the reason the snow ghost is there.
unknownWhy?
SPEAKER_06Because when he was in Tibet, he came across the mighty Yeti.
SPEAKER_03A beast known as a yet.
SPEAKER_06He jumped across a narrow ledge to a narrow ledge, and when the yeti jumped over, he fell down. That was a pretty beast.
SPEAKER_04We also don't know how big the fall was. It's shown pretty far down.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and after some time, he's sitting by a campfire and he sees the ghost of the yeti.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06It could have just been another yeti.
SPEAKER_03It could have, but the yeti looked pretty sore at him, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Oh, there's gotta be more than one.
SPEAKER_03Right, but yeah, when you've been that sore at him, no, he's just a regular yeti. It looks pretty mad to see him.
SPEAKER_06You know, it's kind of crazy. You lived in Tibet and now you're traveling to America because you gotta be in America if Scooby Annie gained our. Because they drove to the place of the mystery machine. Right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So I don't think any get over there if he's supposed to be over in Tibet. That's not gonna say one that.
SPEAKER_06That's like something else. They hear some growling and they think it's a snow goat. Yeah. Turns out to be the white timber wolf. White timber wolf, yeah. Who is she's friend. Yep.
SPEAKER_03He's his friend. He feeds him and he protects him, which is smart.
SPEAKER_06Yep, and all he wants is his bone that Scooby took.
SPEAKER_03Scooby's eating at the moment. That's probably why he was brawling, because he saw someone having his bone and he wasn't happy about that.
SPEAKER_06So you know, so Scooby gives him back the bone and they leave the cave. Find snow ghost footprints.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06But there's something different about them this time.
SPEAKER_03What's so different about them this time?
SPEAKER_06I don't know. They look a little dusty.
SPEAKER_03Oh, maybe he works at a meat market.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but it's it's not beat dust, it's sawdust.
SPEAKER_03Oh, sawdust. Okay, well.
SPEAKER_06So there's gotta be some water around.
SPEAKER_00Must be working out at the mill.
SPEAKER_06So, you know, they follow them to an old sawmill that looks like it hasn't been used since, you know, 18, you know, the 1800s. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, also they split up. You know, sorry, Velma is with Shag and Scoob this time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, this time.
SPEAKER_06Scooby gets frightened by a broken mirror.
SPEAKER_03That's just your reflection on a broken mirror.
SPEAKER_06Well that's because he's no longer frightened by it, he's now entertained. Entertained by it.
SPEAKER_00So it's like a funhouse mirror at this point.
SPEAKER_06So as he's playing with the broken mirror, Velma gets grabbed.
SPEAKER_03Off screen. Kind of off-screen.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you just see it's hands and arms and the hands.
SPEAKER_00We we know it is the snow goes.
SPEAKER_06And Shaggy falls through a trapdoor.
SPEAKER_00So um talk about the bad luck with the placement of where you decide to stand in that large room.
SPEAKER_06Yes. Right?
SPEAKER_03You know, so snowghost has to be working with somebody because compliance that maybe maybe our missed friend Mr. Leech is down there and skin pulls the left shirt over. I mean, how it's gotta be.
SPEAKER_06And he's upset for shaky ass kids. Dracula lives there.
SPEAKER_03Well that could be maybe kind of the scorgus settle.
SPEAKER_00Because you know, or is he Dracula?
SPEAKER_03He looks a little short to be Dracula though. Dracula usually is taller now. He's pretty short for a Dracula. Unless he went through. Yeah, we're gonna do it. Maybe we'll find out one day. Maybe he's a little short for his age.
SPEAKER_00Maybe he's maybe Dracula is stilts.
SPEAKER_03He's wearing stilts.
SPEAKER_00Wouldn't be the first time.
SPEAKER_06No, would not uh you know, Velma then calls for help.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And we find Velma immediately chained to a log that is going down table saw type thing.
SPEAKER_03So this whole time we didn't hear him chain her up. You'd think we would have heard that the log chained our screaming or whatever. You think she's gonna do it? And he did that young stuff.
SPEAKER_00Not only very quietly, but very quickly he got her tied to that log.
SPEAKER_06Yes. But now we know how the snow ghost turns people into ghosts. How does he do that? By literally killing them. Because let's be real, you know, Scooby didn't get Velma off that thing. Velma couldn't have a game. Well, Velma would be a ghost too, literally. Which again is that some kind of smart on the ghost bar because she's the brains.
SPEAKER_03She's the brains of the elf.
SPEAKER_06He's the smart one.
SPEAKER_03Yep. Yep.
SPEAKER_06You know, Scooby can't, you know, the saw he has isn't big enough to cut through. No. Velma tells him to get a bigger saw. So he does. He does. But on the other end is a snow ghost. Who's just not letting go. And because of how long it is, it's all nice and flexible. Flimsy. So, you know, Scooby, you know, waves it up and down, kind of getting the snow ghost off.
SPEAKER_00He does and makes him run into the Snow Ghost shakes himself backwards out of the room.
SPEAKER_06Velma decides like, tell Scooby to act like a beaver. Sure, why not? So, you know, he rearranges his front teeth and shoots to it like a beaver would. I'm guess. Why he didn't do that first, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Well, because Velma told him to. Maybe he didn't know to do that and then Velma told him to.
SPEAKER_00He didn't think of it, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he didn't think of it. He was too busy being scared of the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_06Why does Velma tell like, well, find a bigger saw? Like, if you're gonna have Scooby act like a beaver, just like do that. Like save time.
SPEAKER_03Maybe she didn't think he'd find one that big and one attached to the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_00Maybe she didn't know that he would be able to chew through the log as quickly as he did and thought the saw would be more effective.
SPEAKER_06But it could have taken Scooby a much longer to find a saw.
SPEAKER_00And what yeah, that's a good point as well. The teeth were right there.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. And Scooby already talks, so it's like, what can't he do at this point? Scooby gets Velma off of there, but she's still chained to the log, and you know, they slide down a slide bane into the water.
SPEAKER_03A ramp, probably. Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_06Words are hard.
SPEAKER_02I guess they are.
SPEAKER_06You know, the snow ghost pushes some dynamite tied to a log after that.
SPEAKER_02Oh god.
SPEAKER_06Scooby removes Velma's glasses to double check to make sure that it is dynamite. Scooby can't blow the fuse out. Oh no duh. So once they are in the water, he curls up his tail to act like a speedboat motor and they zip away from the dynamite before it goes off.
SPEAKER_04Yep, also. You think the w uh the big splash of water would stop it.
SPEAKER_00That and the the log would have gone in head first, and I think the dynamite should have gone out from that. But somehow it did not.
SPEAKER_03It doesn't have to make sense.
SPEAKER_06I thought it's dynamite log logic, because even in Looney Tunes, dynamite won't go off so easily.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's true. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Ah, cartoons.
SPEAKER_03You have to love that cartoon logic.
SPEAKER_06You know, Shaggy and Velma meet up with Fred and Daphne, and they're all now they're wondering where Shaggy is, and
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06You know, we hear some ghostly moaning and Janky's been turned into a ghost.
SPEAKER_03Very expertly turned into a ghost. He acts like a ghost. He's pretty good. He's an expert. He's an expert ghost. He's pretty cool.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03We'll go after him.
SPEAKER_06While he's walking around, flailing his arms moaning. He steps in a bucket. And then off of the floor into like a small pool of water.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And when he comes back up, he's not a ghost.
SPEAKER_03How is he not a ghost anymore?
SPEAKER_00It's the regenerating power of the water.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, he's like power of the water. Shake is expertly not a ghost anymore.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_03We're doing that again.
SPEAKER_06Yep. You know, he mentions how he remembers fainting at the sight of Harry Scary. Harry's scary. And when he woke up, he was a ghost. He was a ghost, and an expert wanted that. And at least he, you know, he didn't like start questioning it. Like he just went right along.
SPEAKER_03He went right with it.
SPEAKER_00Well, that would be Shaggy Logic.
SPEAKER_03What would be Shaggy Logic? Well, because all the ghosts he's seen before, they've been usually a lot of them have been white, so maybe he realizes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, maybe there's only been like what two ghosts that have been green?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah, right. That green stuff on the ghost. Yeah. You know, when he dances with them. Yeah, he dances with them before he feeds the piano.
SPEAKER_06Yep. Well, you know, the ghost is there. You know, after Shady's unghosted.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm ghosted.
SPEAKER_06So they run off in different directions. Scooby is hiding. No, this is the first the ghost decides he's gonna be Donkey Kong and him from the attic. Scooby decides he's gonna act like Mario and picks up a hammer. From Donkey Kong. Yep. And uh Shaggy rounds the corner because Scooby was expecting a ghost. He smacks Shaggy on the head. Which causes him to go down and all stagling through the floor. He's stuck in the floor. So Scooby hides him with a bucket.
SPEAKER_02How does this not stuff?
SPEAKER_00It was quick thinking and it turned out to be very good maneuver.
SPEAKER_06The snowball says not question why there's an upside-down bucket there. He doesn't.
SPEAKER_00It was the best option because it would take him. Well, you would have thought it would take him way longer to get out, but as quickly as Shiggy ends up getting out of there.
SPEAKER_04Also, I think a barrel would be way more awkward. Yeah. Yeah. Because there were barrels right there.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Good point.
SPEAKER_06The snow ghost decides, oh it's not worth it chasing after the boy and the dog right now. Although chase after the others. Yeah, they see more entertaining. In which Fred and the girls then dive behind a pile of logs. Which the snow ghost doesn't decide to go beyond. No, for some reason. He decides to give up on them and go back to Shaggy and Scooby.
SPEAKER_03You're giving up on everything. See which part of the music.
SPEAKER_06Well, Fred and Velma lost Daphne. What?
SPEAKER_03Again.
SPEAKER_06And it turns out she's just hiding in a log.
SPEAKER_04How does she know that there's it's the log is how maybe she wants it?
SPEAKER_06That's a good question. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06You know, and she finds jewels inside the log.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, they're shiny. She likes them.
SPEAKER_06And just the logic of you know, all the past Scooby villains. It's like, okay, so the snow ghost is protecting the sawmill from people. Right. What did it think to look in the logs?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, one because it would know those are in there, knows what's in there. Yeah, you think you would don't think to have to check there, but he might not be very bright in that way either.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. We get back to Shag and Scoob running from the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06They end up going down a ski lift or ski ramp into snow one of the snowmobiles in that park there. So they're driving off. Ghost is chasing them. They go up the side of a hill, and Scooby now ends up driving.
SPEAKER_03Which he doesn't like driving because Shanky tells him what to do and he gets very confused and freaks out.
SPEAKER_06Yep, and more ridiculousness ensues in which they start chasing the ghost.
SPEAKER_03Because now he's in front of us.
SPEAKER_06And then the ghost decides I want to chase them, so he goes back behind them. They crash into a sign that's covered in snow.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Which then Shaggy expertly reads out Dan Gerf. Danger.
SPEAKER_07Dan Ice.
SPEAKER_06You know, and they sink down, but then they also come back up.
SPEAKER_04Ice cubes.
SPEAKER_00There must have been like an underwater ice ramp. There must have been. There's no other way that it fit. It would have.
SPEAKER_03Well the snowman will go down, they would be up with the ice, or they'd be floating in like a free. They'd be floating like they do in a different episode, and we'll watch it way later on where they get stuck too. But they're actually literally freezing to death.
SPEAKER_00The water itself wasn't frozen though.
SPEAKER_06They lucked out. It's only their torsos that are covered in ice. They still have use of their arms and their heads aren't frozen. And the ghost is up on top of a cliff. Like how they like the height difference from where the ghost is standing to the thin ice are on. It's pretty big.
SPEAKER_00Like well, he can fly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah, why won't you fly after him? Yet he's gets all he's having a temperature at him, so he's scared.
SPEAKER_06Maybe he's scared of the thin ice.
SPEAKER_03That could be maybe sweaty than Yeti, though. He shouldn't have to worry about that.
SPEAKER_00Well, Yeti is heavier than humans.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But he's also a ghost, so he shouldn't have any weight.
SPEAKER_03He's gonna have any weight, but he also has the fur, so that should keep him warm.
SPEAKER_06And then Shaggy and Scooby end up driving the snowmobile off a cliff. Off a cliff, yeah. And so Shaggy says to make like birds and starts flapping his arms.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_00Which did work surprisingly when they're covered in ice.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the ice didn't lay them down. No.
SPEAKER_06It probably failed because Scooby decided to act like a chicken. I don't know how many chickens fly.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if they don't know how many fly like he thinks.
SPEAKER_00Oh, do you know how many snow ghosts fly?
SPEAKER_06If it's a ghost, it should be all of them.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_06No, and luckily somehow Fred and the girls find Shaney and Scooby Vicker.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06They start chiseling them out, and that gives Fred a brilliant idea for a trap. Oh yeah, brilliant, but yet you know, throw some water on the snow lows and it should freeze in.
SPEAKER_03But you're freezing.
SPEAKER_06Which is pretty sound logic.
SPEAKER_03It does, but yet it doesn't work how he thinks it'll work.
SPEAKER_06No, because I don't think Fred saw through everything.
SPEAKER_03I don't think he does.
SPEAKER_06He probably didn't ask Shaggy to like, hey, how long did it take?
SPEAKER_03He didn't ask Shaggy for his expertise in trapping. Because Shaggy for home is not gonna work. Maybe throw some snow at him.
SPEAKER_06So, you know, oh the plan is they're gonna lure the snow ghost under a ledge where Spooby will be at the top to throw the water onto the snow ghost. And to make sure Spooby does it base, here's a couple of Scooby snacks.
SPEAKER_03And then he floats up with the little bully.
SPEAKER_05Which you know looks to be maybe like four or five ballpark.
SPEAKER_03Yep. And they all stay together plumped in as you throw, it must be tied pretty tightly together.
SPEAKER_00Or are Scooby snacks sticky?
SPEAKER_03They could be.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, who knows?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we've never they might stick to each other. They might. Yeah, well, yeah. Sometimes when you get treats, they do stick together.
SPEAKER_06You know, which falls into the bees, like just like some butterscotch candy ass type things.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06You know.
SPEAKER_03That's what that is, because we don't know what the actual spooky is.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, with the cold weather, like you know, they probably they probably could have frozen together anyway.
SPEAKER_03The butters, yeah. You know if they were in Chiy's pocket when they went through the ice?
SPEAKER_06That's his own.
SPEAKER_00Oh, they could have been frozen together with water.
SPEAKER_06Shakey's the one giving them the Scooby Soul. Right. Who knows who had the snacks this time?
SPEAKER_00So he's having icy Scooby snacks now. Is that better or worse?
SPEAKER_06I don't think Scooby cares. Yeah, Scooby's ice. Probably not.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00Scooby snack is a Scooby-Snack.
SPEAKER_06You know, and you know, immediately behind Scooby is the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he shows up right on time, right on cue.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's not the right spot. So Scooby takes the lid off the bucket of water to throw on the snow ghost and it freezes instantly as it's coming out. You know, it's like, wow, Fred, if only you had some people who just went through some thin ice, you could have told you how quickly they froze.
SPEAKER_03Maybe they should have had the trap down on it where the thin ice was. That probably would have worked a lot better, but you might not have gotten him to come over the bike. Probably would have.
SPEAKER_00Why it didn't freeze in the bucket, though, is another question.
SPEAKER_06I think because it had a lid on it.
SPEAKER_00That could be.
SPEAKER_06Why it didn't freeze right away when Scooby took the lid off?
SPEAKER_00Usually moving water will freeze slower than standing water.
SPEAKER_03Because he lifted it up the first time and it kind of looked like kind of moved a little bit, so maybe that prolonged it from freezing.
SPEAKER_00If only the snow ghosts were like two feet closer to the water rocket.
SPEAKER_03That would have got her. You could have whacked him with that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, also the snow ghost grabs Scooby and is gonna throw him off the cliff, which again leads into like, yeah, he's gonna turn him into ghosts by burgling them.
SPEAKER_03By burning them.
SPEAKER_06But Scooby decides to grab the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_03He's holding pretty tightly because he's not left there. Yeah. I'll make you into a ghost too.
SPEAKER_06Shake he decides you'll help Scooby out, uses a small tree to fling that big snowball into the ghost. Which knocks the snow ghost and Scooby backwards. Yep. Where they roll into a bigger snowball down the hill, chasing everyone else until they crash into the side of them. You know, the side of a cliff. Yeah. They're all just piled in the snow, and you get the snow ghost right in the middle.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06You know, he's boning in pain.
SPEAKER_03He's got a headache. Wouldn't you moan a bone in pain if you want the headache?
SPEAKER_06And his mask falls off to reveal Mr. Greenway.
SPEAKER_03What?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, are we really surprised at this?
SPEAKER_03But still, that's who it is.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, it put maybe it could have been Mr. Leech. Maybe he's wearing stilts.
SPEAKER_00He would have had to have stilts.
SPEAKER_06Alright, but yeah. No. We cut to mourning where the sheriff is there.
SPEAKER_03Of course the sheriff is there.
SPEAKER_06You know, they just uncovered like the biggest jewel smugglers of the area.
SPEAKER_04Wow. We don't know the police station is out in the whole area.
SPEAKER_00So maybe it took them all day to get there. All night to do it.
SPEAKER_03But then how did they get Mr. Leech? Because they got the other guy, but how'd they get him? So maybe the cop had him and brought him over. I mean, it's not shown how we get Mr. Leech. Where was he?
SPEAKER_06I thought, because I mean they were told Mr. Leech was another guest at the lodge. They probably fall from the lodge after, you know, getting Leech there and, you know, this is just the next morning.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00And they looked through his suitcase and found the jewels.
SPEAKER_06Probably.
SPEAKER_03The cop probably did. The cop probably grabbed and said, I'm gonna look at this. Yeah. He might have had an idea.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, basically the whole operation was Leech would give Greenway the jewels in a suitcase, which they would then send down the river in the hallowed-out lots.
SPEAKER_03I mean, all this work. I mean, it seems like a lot of work for what they're doing in the lunch case and putting a whole bunch into the seems like a lot of work. You could just drove them there.
SPEAKER_06Right. Looking around, like, why not just close down the lodge? And then you won't have, yes, and you don't have to close.
SPEAKER_02Close for closed indefinitely. You know, don't show up.
SPEAKER_06You know, and basically, well, how do the snow ghost fly?
SPEAKER_02Hmm.
SPEAKER_06He used transparent plastic skis, which are almost impossible to see at night.
SPEAKER_03We never saw them at all. Maybe they were out at night. We don't know what he's doing.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you know, and they demonstrate that by having them strapped to Scooby's feet.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06You know, he goes down and he jumps up with them on and does look like he's flying.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it does look like he's flying.
SPEAKER_06You know, until he crashes into a tree.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, wouldn't you be mad if someone just plowed into your house?
SPEAKER_00And I think he wrecked it.
SPEAKER_03He did. He got stepped up. Yeah. So you you shouldn't be set out some plowed into your house. You'd be Yeah, but it's Scooby, so. Well, still, but the squirrel doesn't know that. Doesn't know it's just sees a dog and it gets mad and starts pounding.
SPEAKER_06It could have been worse. It could have been the white timber wolf with his ball stone.
SPEAKER_03It could have been the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_00It's could have been the snow ghost, yeah.
SPEAKER_06And you know what that's where the episode ends this week.
SPEAKER_03That's where the episode ends this week.
SPEAKER_04Because he was able to stay in the air, and there weren't really that many big jumps. Right.
SPEAKER_03Not like what the snow was.
SPEAKER_00That's true.
SPEAKER_03And he was not like what the snow ghost had.
SPEAKER_00Flying horizontally. Yeah. Not like he was on skis. But he must have had his belly on the skis.
SPEAKER_03So I well, I think the snow ghost probably used them better than what Spooby did because he was come how he was coming down on that cliff. Probably better.
SPEAKER_00And he's had more practice.
SPEAKER_03Spooby's just showing off how it works.
SPEAKER_00Do they sell those skis somewhere, or where did he get them?
SPEAKER_03That's a good question.
SPEAKER_00The nearly transparent.
SPEAKER_06Who knows?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, who knows? I don't know.
SPEAKER_06But what I do know is we have a lot of spooby snacks.
SPEAKER_03We do have a lot of spooby snacks.
SPEAKER_06Our current spooky snack intake has been 142 spooby snacks. There you go. One shaggy snack and one hero sandwich.
SPEAKER_03And we're about to add more to it, too.
SPEAKER_06So yeah, we add about what? Four or five. How many do you want to say?
SPEAKER_00I think we could probably go five.
SPEAKER_03I think we can probably go five because they're all frozen together. Let's say it could be.
SPEAKER_06So that's 147 Scooby Snacks. Which averages us about, again, almost nine snacks per episode at this point. Nice.
SPEAKER_03We were told six per episode on the behind-the-scenes look at Scooby-Doo on the VHS tape for mysteries.
SPEAKER_06So we'll, you know. Well, we've got eight episodes left of Scooby-Doo.
SPEAKER_03We got a couple more coming than boxes. So we definitely have a lot more coming. So we'll see after that on how many. I reckon it's gonna jump out more and be more than six.
SPEAKER_06That's so that's the fun snack and taste.
SPEAKER_02That is the fun snack and take.
SPEAKER_00Are we gonna get another hero sandwich though?
SPEAKER_06That is a good question.
SPEAKER_03That is a good question. I don't know if we're gonna get any more.
SPEAKER_06Let's see, what ghost do we have coming up? Maybe I want Mr. Hyde.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06The mystery mask mix up. Creeper.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's a good one.
SPEAKER_06Caveman.
SPEAKER_03The werewolf again. Werewolf again. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06The wax phantom. Which is the phone.
SPEAKER_03The phantom. Yeah. I don't know. That's a good question. I don't know if we're gonna get another it's all Scooby. I think it's all Scooby Snacks from here, I think.
SPEAKER_07FXL.
SPEAKER_03That was just interesting. They did one of those things, but yeah, we didn't want to add more of them.
SPEAKER_06Do you think the more iconic was all nobody wants to give Shage his own snack besides Daphne?
SPEAKER_03No, French makes him a special snack that gets him all excited.
SPEAKER_00That's why he keeps her around when uh Scrappy shows up and everybody else leaves, because she feeds the guy.
SPEAKER_03She feeds him because Scooby keeps stealing his food while Daffy's the one who feeds me. I'm gonna stick around.
SPEAKER_06Again, further proof from Scooby Natural that Daphne's just settling for Fred.
SPEAKER_03Well, I guess she shouldn't go for Janie anyway. She's a goal to Chantey.
SPEAKER_06Alright, so moving to the Manifest of Monsters.
SPEAKER_03I suppose we should do that.
SPEAKER_06Alright.
SPEAKER_03Well, what do you guys want? The Manifest of Monsters, the failure files. Or the ranking of the episode. What do you want? Let's go the failure files.
SPEAKER_00It shall be.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but definitely.
SPEAKER_06The failure files.
SPEAKER_03The best failure files out there.
SPEAKER_06I think it's reasonable to assume that the trap of the episode is the giant snowball. For sure.
SPEAKER_03For sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's what catches them.
SPEAKER_06That's what's from the ghost.
SPEAKER_03Giant snowball prize what it's gonna be called.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Alright, the giant snowball it is.
SPEAKER_06So going over what's currently on the failure files. Yep. The bottom at number 17, we've got the tapestry they tried to catch a vampire with.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06Then we've got the giant slide from the eight-man. The instant suds trying to catch Captain Cutler.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06Before Scooby decided to snap him with a boat.
SPEAKER_03It'll make him into a boat. It'll make him into a ghost on it.
SPEAKER_06At 14, we've got the stampede of dogs. At 13, we've got Scooby trying to crash a Viflame into a Black Knight ghost. Make him into an actual ghost. At 12, we have what we like to call Scooby Strikes Back, where he ties a vampire up. Empire Strikes Back's the Back.
SPEAKER_03Before Empire Strikes Back even existed.
SPEAKER_06Which again confirms George Lucas must have watched Scooby do what we're lost. Big Scooby fan.
SPEAKER_03He's a secret Scooby fan. Yep.
SPEAKER_06At 11, we've got the drum and tuba that you just smack the puppet master. Yep. And 10, we've got the wind tunnel they lock the spooky space kook in when he runs it there.
SPEAKER_03Pretty self-explanatory.
SPEAKER_06Nine, we've got the giant crate and giant magnet they try using to get Charlie the robot.
SPEAKER_03Those would have been awesome traps if they weren't sabotaged.
SPEAKER_06Well, the crate wasn't really sabotaged. Like that was just them not understanding what they were working with.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_03Would have worked if he wasn't.
SPEAKER_06If he wasn't a robot.
SPEAKER_03If he wasn't a robot. He's not human. Now they're almost sabotaged.
SPEAKER_06Eight, we have the mirror that Shaggy decides to use to get the ghost clum to hypnotize himself. Which works. At seven, we've got the fun game of lawnmower basketball. Six, one of my personal favorites is the automatic pogo stone.
SPEAKER_03That seems so difficult.
SPEAKER_06But they've decided to use to escape the red beard. Five, we've got Shaggy's effective chandelier. Yep, definitely very effective. That is very useful to catch werewolves.
SPEAKER_03It is. I can't know what being the word is.
SPEAKER_06Four, we have the fun special effects nonsense.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um, what the heck's going on?
SPEAKER_03To get the Alliance kings dip. Yep.
SPEAKER_06Three, we've got the Bet Your Mouse Trap.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06Classic Rube Goldberg setup.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06At two, we have the flying washing machine that they use to catch the phantom shadows. The phantom shadows. And so far, what has been the best has been what we call the money pitch. The money pitch. They smack the witch and zombie with a tree branch. Yep. Where they land into a wagon that takes them down into the back of an armored car.
SPEAKER_03Which they have they have to ongoose Scooby, which makes it work even better.
SPEAKER_06Because Scooby goofs. Because his money sack is stuck on.
SPEAKER_03Stuck out.
SPEAKER_06Roots.
SPEAKER_03A root?
SPEAKER_06And so he also gets snacked by the tree branch, but Shay uses fishing skills. Do you want goofers? Yes, extra fishing skills. So where will we put a giant snowball?
SPEAKER_00It is kind of a basic maneuver. It is. But it is also making very good use of your surroundings.
SPEAKER_06It is defin I definitely think it is definitely the top half of the list. Yes.
SPEAKER_03Probably probably not the top four. I wouldn't think that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. That's what I'm using. And it is a shaky one, so it's a little bit more.
SPEAKER_03It is a shaky one, so it's a better one.
SPEAKER_00It does cause a headache. It does for our villain.
SPEAKER_03Our villain. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Do we think it's better or worse than the chandelier?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I don't know. That's a hard one.
SPEAKER_00That is a hard one. I'd almost say the chandelier is slightly better because that werewolf really had a hard time getting out.
SPEAKER_04We don't know how long it took.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's not like they really ran back into the werewolf afterwards. Like yeah, the werewolf showed up, but they didn't know he was there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I think after the snowball crashed, if he didn't have the headache, he could have easily gotten up and ran away. Unless they planned the headache.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it might be. The pogo stick didn't really didn't really give the smear a headache or anything.
SPEAKER_06No, they just rubbed the jackhammer up the side of the ball onto the ceiling and then they dropped down and the pogo stick landed. The jackhammer landed in the pants of the ghost. That was pretty good.
SPEAKER_00I think that is more resourceful than the snowball. So I would I would probably say beneath the automatic basketball.
SPEAKER_03I don't know, that was pretty funny.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, Scooby riding on a longmore, crashing into the mummy. Through some gymnastic equipment, and then he kicks the mummy into a basketball. Hmm. Well, this one didn't have Fred trying to stop it with a bad home and a door closed.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it would have worked if it was if it was just the door, just the mummy. But it has the lawnmower, so that made me but there are more pieces to that trail.
SPEAKER_00This pretty much had a snowball and a hill and a tree.
SPEAKER_03And a tree. I mean, I think it's better than the mirror, though.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I definitely it's better than shake you just holding up a mirror.
SPEAKER_03It's definitely still, but it's still shaggy.
SPEAKER_00But does this lose points? Because it ended up trapping the whole gang as well in the snowball. So it was effective, but at the same time, too, it almost backfired. So what if them, one of them got the headache?
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06Hmm. Although at the same time. Well, Shaky and Scooby were tech was also trapped with the automatic polvo stickers. They ended up with a pile of tires.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But it wasn't the whole game.
SPEAKER_03It wasn't the whole game. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I guess either either way they did have some backfiring on both.
SPEAKER_03It did, didn't they? Yep.
SPEAKER_00Probably could go either way on that one, then.
SPEAKER_03Probably could. Huh.
SPEAKER_06And I'd say they play the mirror. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I think that above mirror mirror. Below lawmore basketball. Yeah, nothing's gonna be the lawnmower basketball. It's a pretty good one there.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Scooby tries to make the mummy into an actual ghost by kicking him into the fun manifest.
SPEAKER_01Now manifest a monster. Alright.
SPEAKER_06Here we go. Here we go. So a refresher on the current list of the monsters.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06At the bottom at number 20. Yep. We've got Frankenstein's monster.
SPEAKER_03He should be at the bottom.
SPEAKER_00It's gonna be a lot of work to get somebody worse than him.
SPEAKER_03Yes, I think.
SPEAKER_06You know, we've only got like what, eight more.
SPEAKER_03I got eight more, so we'll see where everybody falls to the phone.
SPEAKER_06At 19, we've got the eight man who's too lazy to judge his own costume. At 18, we've got the fortune teller who's not much of a monster, but it's a bonus fourth monster.
SPEAKER_00But still better than one of the monsters in that episode.
SPEAKER_02That's true.
SPEAKER_03Better until all of a sudden she loses their voice and becomes a man. I was pretty like, wait, what? We did a voice challenge up here.
SPEAKER_06At 17, we've got the Vasquez Castle Ghost.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06At 16, we've got the witch. Yeah. At 15, we have the Black Knight.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06At 14, we've got the Mummy. The Mummy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Quest type of tattoos because someone will give him the coin.
SPEAKER_06After all, I tell Shaggy to give it to the box.
SPEAKER_03Big had a badge as his back.
SPEAKER_06That's my favorite line. Yeah. You know, who's so bad at grabbing that Shaggy's literally sitting in his lap. And he still doesn't manage to grab Shaggy. Oh, yep. I mean. You know, Shaggy's legs are killing him. Oh, one, two, three, four of them.
SPEAKER_03Didn't realize I didn't think the look the two of them were bandaged up either. Oh, I got four legs. Alright, wait a minute.
SPEAKER_06At 13, we've got the minor 49er.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06At 12, we've got the Indian witch doctor. 11, we've got Captain Collar. 10, we've got the werewolf. 9, we've got Charlie the Robot. 8, we've got the Ghost Clown. Seven, we've got Redbeard the Pirate. 6. We've got Pietro the Puppet Master, also known as the Cloaked Cavalier.
SPEAKER_03I love that.
SPEAKER_06At five, we've got the Franken Castle Vampire. Four, we've got the spooky space kook.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Three, we've got the iconic zombie.
SPEAKER_03Yep, who gets very excited when he catches Spooky by the tail. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06At two, we've got the Ghost of Elias Kingston.
SPEAKER_03Someone beat him on the number one spot.
SPEAKER_06And at number one, we've got the Phantom Shadows.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Phantom Shadows.
SPEAKER_06And then we should grab four people off screen.
SPEAKER_03That is impressive.
SPEAKER_06And then they'll replace them with dummies and coffins. Coffins. So, uh, where would we like to place the snow ghosts?
SPEAKER_03I mean. He's good at grabbing, but not very smart, and he gives up way too easily on where the where they actually are that he keeps going back and forth because he can't figure out who he needs to go after. Yeah. He's not very smart.
SPEAKER_00But he can make it appear as though he's flying.
SPEAKER_03Yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. He is definitely a top half of the list.
SPEAKER_03He definitely is. So yeah, we're top half of this.
SPEAKER_06Well, the topically werewolf is at number 10.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_06So.
SPEAKER_03Okay, with his ability to grab the way that he does.
SPEAKER_00Like put him higher than werewolf, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, the thing is the werewolf's fragmenting above him in the next episode that he can't.
SPEAKER_00We can leapfrog him, yeah.
SPEAKER_04We'll leapfrog him, yeah.
SPEAKER_06We'll move him up like werewolves will have a chance of moving his position.
SPEAKER_03He does have a chance. The only one who's probably gonna have a chance.
SPEAKER_06No. Because of his grabbing ability, he's gotta be up there with the top, somewhere within those top three that have actually got the successfully grabbed successfully grabbed. So you know he's definitely above space scoop.
SPEAKER_03Right. I mean, the zombie isn't very smart either.
SPEAKER_06So who za trying to remember? Is that the zombie only grab spooky or did he grab shaky as well?
SPEAKER_03I'm trying to think if he That's a good question. How can I remember?
SPEAKER_00I think the Snow Ghost has to get some credit though for tying up Velma quickly. Yes, that is and quietly with those chains.
SPEAKER_06Do we think the snow ghost is better than the ghost of a lice?
SPEAKER_04Oh, I don't I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Who grabbed Shaggy what, three times also? Three times.
SPEAKER_04He only grabbed him twice. Twice.
SPEAKER_00I think if you go on the grab count, he's below.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Because the light skins are smarter than the snow ghost.
SPEAKER_06So that has a lot more of a convoluted trap to catch.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, versus just throwing a snowball at him. That would kind of work with the lice skins.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, the special effects like that trap had no hiccups at all.
SPEAKER_03It actually had it was a smooth trap all the way through.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I don't see that very often. No, no, not with the you well, that's so between zombie and Elias Hinston. I think that makes sense to me.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he means now number three.
SPEAKER_03Yep, there we go. Alright.
SPEAKER_06You know, and that just about wraps up this mystery, I think.
SPEAKER_03Well, then we have to write the episode. Yeah. Really? That's the next that's you did that last time.
SPEAKER_06It's been a long day. Alright. Alright. Alright. So, how many Scooby Snacks do we think this brings to the table of snacks?
SPEAKER_04I mean, it's it's not below three.
SPEAKER_00Definitely not below three.
SPEAKER_06Oh. You know, it's a nice good salad episode. Like, I think it's a nice salad four.
SPEAKER_00I would agree with the four.
SPEAKER_03It might be more if there was a elaborate musical chaste and that probably would have bumped it up a lot. I mean, we will get next episode. Which we will be doing musical numbers for now. So that's gonna be another added list option, too, that we're gonna.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but we add the Scooby Snack tracks.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Scooby Snack tracks, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like four points, don't they?
SPEAKER_00Um like four and a half stars.
SPEAKER_01Four and a half. Hmm. Like 0.2 or 0.3? Uh I gotta say that four.
SPEAKER_06I think it'll because I think it'll be just put onto the list at four. And within like the next month or two, when we get to the end of Where Are You, you and I are most likely probably gonna do like a big like series wrap-up for Where Are You and we'll go through the numbers and depending on what we have in terms of fours and three. Fours and three. We might try to divide them up, then those into like a specific order, like probably give like what we think are like the ten most watchable training. Yeah. Yeah. Like what ten episodes we would recommend watching. Which is probably gonna be filled for sure with all of the five the five snack episodes and then right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I mean, I would say so far with all of the other fours, like this is probably one that's up to make the list.
SPEAKER_03I would assume this one will make the list, definitely. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Nice solid four.
SPEAKER_03Nice solid form again.
SPEAKER_05I think we have so many uh well, if we only have like what, maybe three or four or fives.
SPEAKER_03I think so. Well, that's kind of true now that we're gonna have musical numbers and the chase scenes. The chase scenes are the most iconic. Yeah, yeah. It's weird that they're so iconic, but yet we only get them towards the end of the series, so it's even weirder yet to be. But then we uh we get an early awesome chase scene from uh Scooby Natural where we actually get them running around. We also see bits of added extra people. We get scrappy running, so there's an awesome scene with that one. I thought that was pretty awesome. Yeah, that is uh seeing them like is that scrappy?
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, Scooby Natural was such a nice love letter to the Scooby-Doo.
SPEAKER_03Awesome. I think that's where they did the uh didn't they do the iconic time for the door are you?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they used the original theme for the chase sequence music.
SPEAKER_03That was awesome.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, oh yeah, they had the door segment.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. The lovely hall. Well, it was wasn't the hallway always seen, but it was the whole just the whole bunch of carboom segment.
SPEAKER_06Granted, we did lose the dancing with the ghost and feeding the piano.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we did lose that, but I mean we also lost the fact that they drove to the location versus coming off on a boat.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So somehow they messed that, but then, well, they had to do it because it was baby. Baby has to be shown because she's beautiful. You have to see baby. Baby's the Apollo if you don't know what that is.
SPEAKER_06And we had to find out that maybe Van can beat an impala in a street race.
SPEAKER_03It was rigged. He would definitely have been able to beat that. He was rigged, alright? It was rigged. Fred must have done something to mess that up. He got him stuck in a smoke screen.
SPEAKER_06That's how it happens.
SPEAKER_03He would have beat Fred.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. But I think now this wraps up the mystery.
SPEAKER_03I think now, yes, it does wrap up the mystery.
SPEAKER_06We'll just pile some snow onto the snow. Yes, that's too bad. Give him a headache. And we'll be back next week.

SPEAKER_06With nowhere to hide.
SPEAKER_03Nowhere to hide. Yep.
SPEAKER_06The start of season two of Scooby-Doo, where are you?
SPEAKER_03Start of season two. Oh, we're there. We're getting there.

SPEAKER_03Mr. Hyde. Jacqueline, the iconic.
SPEAKER_06That's a very iconic single. Boy, have no idea who could possibly be able to do it. We have no idea who the ghost could be. Especially if you've read any old literature, you know.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it was the maid. The maid was the ghost, remember?
SPEAKER_06I thought Fred was the ghost.
SPEAKER_03No, Red Herring was the ghost.
SPEAKER_00He might have been out of town this week.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Scrappy's his dog now.
SPEAKER_06Explains why we don't see him anymore.
SPEAKER_03It does, doesn't it? I don't know why we don't see him. Just that iconic one Fred talks about. Ring ring the phone. Hey, I'm out of town this week. No blaming anything on me. I'm like, really? This is those buttons cream that brings the phone. Like, what?
SPEAKER_06Alright, guys. So we'll be back next. We get remember. They would have gotten away with it too.
